Painting for Parkland... Our Nighttime Event

Even a snowstorm could not keep our faithful volunteers away from a worthwhile cause. We had to postpone our event one night due to the third nor'easter in less than 3 weeks, but we had a packed house nevertheless. Thank you to Riverview Bistro, the best home a organization could ever ask for, and to our wonderful Hearts of Hope family, for rolling with the punches and coming out in full force to Paint for Parkland!

We were honored to have Ryann Wiltsie, who spoke so eloquently at the Stratford High School Walk Out, come and be our guest speaker tonight. She read a poem by Alex Schacter, one of the students killed at Parkland, as well as spoke a few poignant words about her personal experience with Sandy Hook. It was a very moving night for all who attended.
