Sterling House PJ Cocktail Party March 22, 2019

Sterling House PJ Cocktail Party

Last night we had the honor and privilege to be asked to participate in the Sterling House PJ Cocktail Party. This was such a wonderful event. All of the proceeds from the ticket sales go to support the programs and services for the  youth in the Sterling House Resource Connection/Food Pantry. We were a last minute entry and had no idea what to expect, but I am so glad that they thought to ask and include us! The house was full of such great energy, laughter, and joy! Everyone was having a great time! I only wish I had time to be able to go to the fashion show at the end of the night. If they do this again, I will definitely make sure I get to that to cap off such an amazing event!

My photos from the event will show how the house looked from the first floor up to the second and then to the third floor where we were entertaining guests in our Hearts of Hope room. I took these beginning photos before guests arrived. I was afraid once the event started I might not have any time to see what was happening on the other floors. I am so glad I took the time to look, because otherwise I would not have had a clue on what I was missing, and it was a lot! From what I heard, the auditorium had a runway that was lit up with twinkling lights... I am so sorry I missed that.

Food and beverages could be found on every floor.

On the second floor were massages, essential oils, more food and wine, tea tastings...

The third floor had more food and wine, beautiful gems, minerals, and jewelry, essential oils, and the Hearts of Hope room where you could learn about our organization and paint a heart for a worth cause.

Our room is ready for people to come and paint.

Our first arrival, but not our last.

It is so much fun running into former students. I hope they have good memories of me.

Everyone was enjoying their first painting experience.

Maybe we will see some of these new shining faces at some of our events in the future!

I can't say it enough, tonight was so much fun! I loved meeting so many people and introducing them to Hearts of Hope... explaining our meaning, our mission. Showing them where we actually make the hearts, showing them ones waiting to be delivered, talking to them about last week's delivery and chasing down mail trucks...it filled my heart with such joy it is hard to put into words. I hope these  pictures and the smiles on their faces can express the joy that my words fail to do justice to... until next time Hopester....
