Honoring a WWII and Korean War Veteran
and a Vietnam Veteran
Today, some members of the Hearts of Hope Stratford Chapter met at the Open Door Tea Room in Paradise Green to honor and thank two veterans that live in Stratford. Richard Steele served in both World War II and the Korean War. Bob Richie served our country during the Vietnam War.

Richard Steele (94) served in World War II as pilot and was recalled to serve in the Korean War as a flight instructor and pilot. When he retired from the marines, he served in the reserves and retired as a Major.
Bob Richie served our country in the Vietnam War.
